Tyndall Park
Ready for some outdoor fun? Head over to Tyndall Park! You’ll find it at 913 E. Sevier Street. Spanning over 24 acres, this park is packed with everything you need for a day full of adventure. Here’s a peek at what’s waiting for you:

Outdoor Playground
This modern, inclusive playground accommodates children with all types of abilities. The park has an inclusive see-saw, saucer swing, full support seat zipline, inclusive merry-go-round, steam roller slide and various hands-on activities. The park is completely gated, preventing children from wandering into the road and providing parents with extra peace of mind. With two nearby gazebos and plenty of picnic tables, this area is perfect for families with young children.
Tyndall Park Splash Pad
Beat the heat and get ready for some belly laughs at the Tyndall Park Splash Pad. The splash pad is open daily from 9:00am - 8:00pm in the summer months, typically from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Parents and family members can sit comfortably in the shade at the covered picnic tables while kids get soaked by the larger-than-life water bucket dumper. The park also features a misting arc, various interactive water spouts and water-shooting guns. With 250 gallons of water being pumped per minute, your kids will be entertained for hours.
Tyndall Park Skate Park
Grab your roller blades, skateboards or bikes and take a spin at Tyndall Skate Park. Featuring a flat board, double half pipe, half pipe, vert ramp, grind rails and boxes that are all metal. There is no cost to skate and pads are not required. Also, make plans to attend the annual RollerSkate Fest hosted by Benton Parks & Recreation.

Take a stroll around the playground and various amenities at Tyndall Park on the 0.75-mile walking trail.
Juli Busken Memorial Amphitheater
Rest your legs at the Juli Busken Memorial Amphitheater. This outdoor amphitheater provides seating for 500. With raised concrete seating and an impressively large stage, this versatile outdoor amphitheater is great for various performances and events.

Lyle Park
Lyle Park is located at 2 Rivercrest Circle, providing access to the Saline River. The park offers an ADA ramp, boat ramp and kayak launch. There is also trailer parking, a fishing overlook, and numerous picnic tables. This outdoor park is a wonderful area to start your adventure on the Saline River.
Benton Bike Park
Grab your helmet and hit the trails—Benton Mountain Bike Park is a two-wheeled wonderland that’s perfect for beginners, thrill-seekers, and everyone in between. From mellow green trails to wild jump lines and even a dual slalom course, this place was built for fun. You’ll even find a wall ride if you’re feeling bold.
Built by the pros at Progressive Trail Design, the park offers over 4 miles of trails, packed with features that make it one of the coolest bike parks in Arkansas. Whether you're a kiddo on your first bike or a seasoned rider, this park delivers. The Benton Mountain Bike Park is located at 1100 S. Market Street. The park officially opened in 2024 and has been drawing mountain bikers and tourists from all over the region.
Sunset Lake
Sunset lake is a stocked fishing lake located at 924 Fairfield Road. This lake offers a peaceful escape nestled right in the heart of Benton. Take a stroll on the easy one-mile loop that circles the lake or bring a fishing pole and make some casts off the fishing pier. The walking path takes an average of 20 minutes to complete. During the walk, children can participate in the nature scavenger hunt and story walk markers provided by the Saline County Library. Bring your furry friends because within walking distance is the Riverside Dog Park. The sand volleyball court is also just a short walk up the road.
Riverside Park
Located at 1800 Citizens Drive, Riverside Park truly has something for everyone! Whether you’re breaking a sweat at the River Center or enjoying the fresh air with outdoor recreation, this is your go-to spot for fun and fitness. The River Center offers a variety of amenities, and you can enjoy it all for an affordable daily rate—just $5 for Saline County residents, $10 for visitors, and free admission for kids 3 and under. Aquatics Center
The Competition Pool is a 25-yard, 8-lane pool that features a seasonal climbing wall, diving board, water polo goal, ADA lift and basketball goal. The 250-seat observation desk makes the facility an ideal destination for large swimming competitions. The aquatics center is known for its large kids play area with an umbrella water play feature, kids’ play climbing structure, and a two-story water slide that takes patrons outside the building before winding their way back into the natatorium.
Riverside Dog Park
Riverside Dog Park is located at 924 Fairfield Road. This park has off-leash play areas for both large and small dogs. With many play structures and a large fenced in area, dogs are able to get plenty of exercise and social time.
Ralph Bunche Park
Ralph Bunche Park is located at 1300 S. East Street. This 2.41 acre park includes a playground, two pavilions, a BBQ grill, amphitheater, basketball court and a day-use baseball field. This park hosts the annual Juneteenth festival with vendors, music games and much more!
Owens-Mooney Park
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Benton at the corner of W. South Street and N. Main Street, Owens-Mooney Park is a charming pocket of green space. This .41-acre park features a decorative clock, a peaceful water fountain, benches, a picnic table, and a Trail of Tears historic marker. It’s the perfect spot to take a break, enjoy a quiet moment, or rest your legs after exploring Benton’s downtown shops and boutiques.
