For generations, the Saline County Fair Parade has brought families and friends together to celebrate the beginning of Fair Week. Expect colorful floats, marching bands, beautifully restored vehicles, local dignitaries, equestrian groups, and organizations from throughout Saline County as they make their way through downtown. This year’s theme, “Let the Good Times Roll,” sets the stage for a fun and festive evening in Downtown Benton on Tuesday, September 8.

Bring the kids, grab a spot along the parade route, and enjoy an evening filled with hometown spirit. And if you’re feeling especially festive, families, businesses, schools, churches, civic organizations, and individuals are all encouraged to participate!

2. Saline County Fair & Rodeo

September 8–12, 2026

If you’re looking for a classic fall experience the whole family will enjoy, this is one to put at the top of your list. The fair brings five days of carnival rides, fair food, exhibits, livestock shows, rodeo excitement, and plenty of family-friendly entertainment to Benton.

The fun begins with the Saline County Fair Pageant and Talent Show before the fair gets into full swing. Throughout the week, visitors can explore exhibits featuring livestock, horticulture, cultural arts, baked goods, and more. You’ll also find commercial booths, local vendors, food, and all the sights and sounds that make the fair such a beloved tradition.

3. Old Fashioned Day

Step back in time and enjoy a day filled with small-town charm at Old Fashioned Day, Benton’s oldest outdoor festival. This beloved annual event is a great way to spend a fall Saturday with the whole family. Head to Downtown Benton for live music, the annual Beard & Bonnet Contest, food trucks, kids’ activities, shopping, and live specialty demonstrations.

Watch local artisans showcase their skills with live blacksmithing and leatherworking demonstrations, then enjoy live music throughout the day from Casey Penn Music and Copper Flats. With plenty to see, do, eat, and explore, it’s easy to spend the day soaking up the festive hometown atmosphere.

Hosted by the Saline County Council on Aging, Old Fashioned Day has brought the community together for more than 50 years, celebrating local heritage, supporting area businesses, and raising funds for services at the Benton Senior Activity and Wellness Center.

4. Roseberry Farms Pumpkin Patch

If pumpkin patches, hayrides, and corn mazes are on your family’s fall bucket list, make plans to visit Roseberry Farms!

This 56-acre, family-run farm offers everything you need for a picture-perfect fall day, including a pumpkin patch, hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, concessions, human hamster wheels, and a 100-foot super slide. Grab the kids, throw on your favorite flannel, and spend the day enjoying all the classic sights and activities of the season.

Established in 2014 and owned by Bryan and TK Roseberry, the farm is located at 12223 AR-9 in Benton and is open Fridays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during September and October.

Whether you’re picking out the perfect pumpkin, exploring the corn maze, or enjoying a hayride together, Roseberry Farms is an easy way to make a fall day in Benton feel extra special.

5. The Royal Theatre Haunted House

Looking for a little more excitement this fall? Have teenagers who are always up for a new adventure? Turn up the scares at the Royal Theatre Haunted House in Downtown Benton! 

People from across Arkansas visit this historic theatre each fall for creative scares, handmade animatronics, unique props, and unforgettable characters. The haunted house has even been rated #1 on ArkansasHauntedHouses.com for three consecutive years.

Located at 111 South Market Street in Downtown Benton, the Royal Theatre is the perfect stop for older kids, teens, and adults looking for a spooky night out.
