Get ready, Benton—the wait for Buc-ee’s is almost over! That’s right, the famous beaver is building his very first Arkansas location right here in our backyard.
This Texas-sized travel center will be located just off the Haskell exit on Interstate 30 at Arkansas 229. And when we say "big," we mean it—74,000 square feet of snacks, groceries, fresh fudge, Buc-ee’s BBQ, home décor, and of course, the cleanest restrooms you’ve ever seen.
They’re not stopping there! The new Buc-ee’s will feature:
- 120 fueling stations
- Thousands of grab-and-go goodies
- Famous brisket sandwiches
- Fresh, handmade fudge
- Home décor and gifts
Oh—and did we mention jobs? Buc-ee’s is expected to create 250 new positions with competitive pay, great benefits, and a fun, friendly work environment.
Big Numbers, Big Impact
Once the doors open in September 2026, Buc-ee’s is expected to welcome 5 million visitors a year—and about half of those folks will be coming from out of state. That’s a lot of road trips, pit stops, and Beaver Nuggets!
The groundbreaking in April 2025 was a record-breaker, drawing a crowd of over 400 people—the largest Buc-ee’s groundbreaking ever! As of July 1, 2025, all the permits are officially in place, and the construction crews are moving fast. You’ll start seeing major changes on the site very soon.
